| Care Instructions: Hand wash with mild soap. After the first wash buff with either fine steel wool or a Scotch Brite pad to remove the tiny wood fibers that rise when washed the first few times. This process will restore the original smoothness to the wood. |

Periodically rub with food-safe oil. Extra virgin olive oil or mineral oil are good options. Allow the oil to soak in for about an hour, then wipe away the excess. |
| Please do NOT place in the dishwasher. The detergent contains bleach that will break down the wood fibers. The worst part is the dry cycle. When woods are used with liquid they will swell a small amount. If they dry rapidly the wood is likely to crack. |
